This site was set up on 06/02/07 in order to catalogue the progress and development of my Chewbacca Costume. This project has been on my back burner for some years now but the forthcoming Celebration Europe has given me the incentive to get the job done. Hopefully the costume will be ready in time to be used as part of this unique event.

10/02/07 Head Cast taken - Using a combination of alginate and plaster a full head cast has been made to use as a base for sculpting the mask underskull.

22/02/07 Sculpting of the under skull began - using the head cast above clay has been built up to begin forming the shape of a wookie skull.

01/03/07 Molding of the Under skull Done - using a silicone mold with plaster mother mold. Ready for fiber glassing.

05/03/07 Under Skull - The fiber glassed under skull is out of the mold and had teeth added.

15/03/07 Dragon Skin - The face mask now has a silicone skin.

24/03/7 Duct Tape Dummy - The first stages of a duct tape dummy completed.

12/04/07 Sound Board added. - Supplied by Phil (Neophyl) of Spartan Design.

27/04/07 Let the furring commence - 02/05/07 Mask Finished

05/05/07 "Muscle" suit construction commenced - 21/05/07 "Muscle" suit completed.

22/05/07 Construction on the "trousers" comenced

14/06/07 Suit construction finished apart from some more thinning.

14/06/07 The foot sculpting begns

21/06/07 Finished!!!
